Yes. Personal Physician Care offers in-house ultrasound services at select locations. Ultrasound imaging can be ordered by your PPC physician and performed during or immediately after your visit — no trip to a separate imaging center, no scheduling delays of days or weeks.
Our in-house ultrasound capabilities include abdominal ultrasound (gallbladder, liver, kidneys, spleen), thyroid ultrasound (nodule evaluation, goiter assessment), pelvic and transvaginal ultrasound, vascular and Doppler studies (blood flow, DVT screening), soft tissue and musculoskeletal ultrasound, and echocardiogram (heart structure and function). Your physician will determine which study is appropriate based on your clinical presentation and order it directly.
For patients with thyroid disease, abdominal complaints, cardiac concerns, or vascular risk factors, ultrasound is often a frontline diagnostic tool. When it requires a separate appointment at an outside facility, patients face delays — sometimes weeks. At PPC, that delay is eliminated. Your physician orders the study, it gets done, and results are reviewed together in a coordinated way that improves the speed and quality of your care.
Patients managing thyroid disorders with Dr. Shapse or Dr. Danielle Neuman can have thyroid nodule surveillance ultrasounds performed in-house, reducing the logistical burden of ongoing monitoring. Similarly, patients with abdominal symptoms, kidney disease, or cardiovascular risk can receive timely imaging without leaving the PPC ecosystem.
Ask your PPC provider whether ultrasound is available at your location, or call us to schedule an imaging appointment.
